Consumer Notice Regarding Infant Car Seats

OTTAWA, ONTARIO–(Marketwire – Dec. 18, 2009) – Transport Canada advises consumers of a potential safety hazard pertaining to Designer 22-model infant car seats.

Dorel Distribution Canada is reporting a potential for the carrying handle to separate from the infant carrier. The bolts that hold the handle in place may loosen, causing the handle to fully or partially separate from the carrier. There is a potential for the infant to fall out of the carrier if unharnessed while being transported outside a vehicle.
